Girwa FM
Girwa FM, is a licensed radio broadcasting in dholuo that runs lifestyle and entertainment programs. It is one of the Kenya’s dholuo FM radio station, with coverage in the following counties: Homabay, Migori, Kisumu, Siaya and their surroundings.
Being a new dholuo broadcasting FM radio station, Girwa FM needed full brand identity. The first step was to come up with a logo, one that would touch on both local native and broadcasting aspect. Aside from the logo, we were also to design other brand collateral.
Girwa FM also needed an online presence. We were tasked to create an informational website that would display their services, showcase counties which their frequency reach and other information about the radio station.

The Outcome.
The final results was a distinct logo that had a mud-hut as one of its elements. It symbolized the cultural aspect where, the dholuo people would sit outside a hut in the evening and tell stories. We also designed business cards, letterheads and media banner that would be used in the radio station.
Aside from branding, we delivered an informational website which contained Girwa FM services and other information about the radio station.
